John 14:1-31

Introduction

For three years, Jesus’ disciples had walked with Him, heard Him teach, and saw the signs that He did. In John 13, Jesus told them that one of them would betray Him. Then He told them that He was going away, and they would be able to come with Him. Chapter 13 ends with Jesus telling Peter that he would deny knowing Jesus. If Peter would fail, what would the rest of the disciples do? Where was God in all of this? What was God doing? Have you ever felt like that? Maybe you are confused and troubled today. What is God’s remedy for a troubled heart?
