Matthew 23:1-12
Introduction
Many Americans struggle with bad knees. There is a lot of information about exercises and stretches to prevent knee surgery. Yet there is MORE information on the internet about bad-looking knees. Many more people are more concerned about their knees' appearance than their function.
In this passage, Jesus addressed His disciples publicly, for their benefit. He was recognizing and calling out the Pharisees about their concern for outward appearance, hypocrisy, and pride. We can learn from His message as well.
