2 Samuel 5:1-25
We are well acquainted with the risks and dangers of hard times. We prepare for disaster, lose sleep over potential trials, and hear repeated warnings about pitfalls down the road. But when it comes to prosperity, success and ease…we assume there are no risks. Jesus teaches us to not be so focused on worldly success that we forgot about God…the One who really matters. (See Luke 12:13-21) Success can be a good gift from God…but if we don’t handle it well, it too comes with risks.

2) The risks of strength (5:11-16)
